CAPLINQ Signs Definitive Agreement to represent Ionomr in Europe

CAPLINQ Europe BV signs definitive agreement to represent Ionomr AEMION™ & PEMION™ Products, Made by Ionomr Innovations,  in Europe.

Amsterdam, the Netherlands (WEBWIRE) – May 1st, 2019 – CAPLINQ Europe BV announced today that it will become Ionomr Innovations’ “European Market Partner” to further promote its Aemion™ and Pemion™ advanced ion-exchange membranes and polymers to its customers in Europe.  Under the terms of the agreement, CAPLINQ will represent Ionomr Innovations’ full line of ion-exchange membranes and polymers.

Ionomr offers the world’s most advanced ion-exchange membranes

Ionomr Innovations develops the world’s most advanced ion-exchange membranes and polymers.  Ionomr’s first commercial product Aemion™ is the most durable and high-performance anion exchange on the market.  Aemion™ is unique in that it is incredibly stable in both strongly acidic and highly basic environments.  This is unique in the industry and offers solutions to multiple industries, including AEM electrolyzers and fuel cells which do not require expensive materials such as platinum.

Current development activities are focused on even higher stability of the Aemion™ ion-exchange membrane and the commercial launch of Pemion™, a proton- and cation exchange membrane.  Pemion™ offers the promise of a hydrocarbon-based solution to PEM electrolyzers and fuel cells.

“We are truly excited about this European Market Partnership with Chris Perabo and the CAPLINQ Europe team,” remarked Andrew Belletti, Director of R&D Marketing at Ionomr Innovations.  “We believe that with the reputation and expertise of CAPLINQ Europe’s technical team, as well as their geographical proximity to our best potential Aemion™ and Pemion™ customers, that this combination will prove to be a great market partnership.”

A perfect fit

The range of advanced ion-exchange membranes offered by Ionomr Innovations complements the current product offerings as well as the strategic direction of CAPLINQ Europe BV, whose skills lie in developing pioneering technologies for leading-edge applications.

“After meeting and discussing with the Ionomr team, we are convinced that the European market is ready for this technology,” stated Chris Perabo, Business Development Director of CAPLINQ.  “Energy-focused applications such as fuel cells, electrolyzers and batteries will all benefit from using the Aemion™ and Pemion™ technology offered by Ionomr Innovations.”
