We are thrilled to announce that Rose Anne Acedera has joined CAPLINQ as a Technical Applications Engineer, effective May 1, 2023. Rose Anne will be based in the Philippines, where she will make a valuable contribution to our team. With her extensive research experience in the field of renewable energy device materials, she brings a wealth of knowledge in renewable technologies.
Rose Anne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering and a Master’s degree in Energy Engineering from the University of the Philippines. Her background in materials science and energy engineering has led her to work on projects involving the development of low-cost alkaline anion exchange membrane electrolyzer technology based on transition metal oxide catalysts, as well as biomass-derived high-performance electrical double-layer capacitors.

During her studies, she participated in international training programs hosted by Newcastle University in the United Kingdom and the Institute of Physical Chemistry – Polish Academy of Science in Poland. Additionally, she has attended local and international conferences and published research articles in peer-reviewed journals.
Rose Anne describes herself as the “most extroverted person” you’ll ever meet, as she thoroughly enjoys being in the company of others. She often hangs out with friends and occasionally engages in karaoke sessions with them. On the other hand, she also appreciates having some alone time, where she likes to stroll in malls and enjoy a nice, warm meal whenever she feels exhausted from all the walking.
Rose Anne’s friends and family describe her as someone who is full of light and radiance. It’s true – with all the brightness and energy she exudes, Rose Anne is determined to promote renewable and sustainable means of powering the world.
