Mold Cleaning Effects of Rubber Cleaning Sheets at Different Temperatures

Until recently, industries used Melamine Based Cleaners (MBC) to clean molds that form during molding epoxy molding for encapsulation of semiconductors such as integrated circuits, diodes, transistors, etc.

The problem with a melamine-based approach is that it needs longer cleaning time. And, even after that, it still remains inside the cavity pocket or around the molds, which may later cause defects. Plus, MBC also required lead frame for the cleaning and preheating process.

Rubber Based Compounds or rubber cleaning sheets effectively resolve this issue and easily remove pollutants and stains from the surface. Here, it must be noted that temperature and pressure are critical elements that ensure maximum cleaning.

Higher temperature increases the diffusion rate and also reduces the cleaning time. CAPLINQ offers a series of high performing rubber cleaning sheets that have proven to be effective for a wide range of molds. In this post, we will find out the mold cleaning effects of these rubber cleaning sheets at different temperatures. Read on.

1. RCS100 C & RCS200 W

CAPLINQ’s Linqsheet RCS100 Highly Effective Rubber Cleaning Sheet and Linqsheet RCS200 Highly Workable Rubber Cleaning Sheet are among the best performing cleaning sheets. Both these sheets boast of high flow characteristics, which allows them to clean even the tiniest mold corners and thin gate areas. RCS200 also features strong workability and emits very minimal odor during cleaning.
