I am happy to announce that effective November 26th, 2020, Rowena Tiggers will be celebrating her one-year anniversary with CAPLINQ as Warehouse Operator. Working out of our offices in Assendelft, the Netherlands, Rowena has and will continue to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of our customers orders throughout Europe.
Announcement comes better late than never!
Though Rowena has now been with CAPLINQ for almost a year, the COVID-pandemic made her welcome announcement difficult to make in a timely manner. We didn’t want to let the opportunity pass us by however and wanted to at least recognize her contribution to the team.
As a friend of the environment, I’ve been also pleasantly surprised that my ideas about how to reduce, reuse and recycle have been adopted and implemented in my role
Since Rowena started, we have moved from our old offices in Heemskerk to our new, larger offices and warehouse in Assendelft. We have also begun making deep-frozen deliveries (-40°C) with dry ice, regular-frozen deliveries (-20°C) with blue ice as well as cooled deliveries at 5°C.
Rowena comes to us with a broad experience base: from office manager and bookkeeping to festival manager and logistic manager. She is a “hands-on” person and problem solver, able to write new procedures and upgrade them ensuring that all regulations and handling methods are clear for everybody in the warehouse.
With her experience and skill set, she has already proven that she can run the warehouse in a responsible and coordinated way. We can no longer remember what we even did without her!
In her free time, Rowena loves to travel through Europe with her camper and partner. Together they love to bike and take long walks in the woods or by the sea. She is a free spirit with some crazy-ness making her a very happy-camper!
Rowena to optimize and streamline warehouse operations
Key to this role will be to work with our customers to clearly understand their product requirements and help them find and implement the right products to meet their production requirements.
Organizationally, Rowena will report to the Operations Manager but will interact with all departments as she understands and implements the technologies that CAPLINQ can offer its customers.
