I am happy to announce that as of August 16th, 2021, Natalja Vasseur has joined CAPLINQ as Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) Administrator. Working out of our offices in Assendelft, the Netherlands, Natalja will first help CAPLINQ achieve ISO 9001 certification while also supporting customers and colleagues with PPAP, ISO, Quality, and HSE-related topics.
Natalja is inventing and creating CAPLINQ’s QHSE position as she goes
Natalja is CAPLINQ’s first dedicated QHSE hire. Many of Natalja’s responsibilities used to be divided between sales, customer service, and supply chain personnel. Due to the critical nature of the products CAPLINQ supplies, our automotive, semiconductor, and energy-sector customers demanded that we become ISO-certified and that we had dedicated help for the PPAP, IMDS, and other QHSE responsibilities.
I accepted CAPLINQ’s QHSE Administrator challenge as I saw it as an opportunity to build on my previous experience. I knew that with focus, I could bring CAPLINQ’s capabilities to the next level. I’m excited to take over all quality-related processes knowing that these are crucial to customer satisfaction and therefore to CAPLINQ’s business itself.
Natalja to create, define and design the QHSE position within CAPLINQ
Though Natalja has not held a QHSE position in the past, her curiosity towards the QHSE regulations, including what these demand and the way these have changed over time have ignited her curious spark and she has taken it a personal mission to get CAPLINQ ISO-certified and to demonstrate to our customers, that CAPLINQ is a premium and specialized supplier of chemicals, adhesives and plastics.
Natalja holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from BA School of Business and Finance, Latvia. During her studies, she participated in several international programs for students (Erasmus & The Leonardo da Vinci) through which she got a chance to study and do her first internship in the Benelux.
Natalja also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in HRM from VU Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Getting a degree was the main reason for her move from Latvia to the Netherlands in 2010. She had several administrative jobs in various companies, but she found her life’s passion when she joined the Supply Chain world 7 years ago. Since then she has tried to continuously enhance her knowledge in this area.
Organizationally, Natalja will report to the Operations Manager, though she will interact with her sales and marketing colleagues to make sure that they know what is being asked of them and to make sure that we are in a position to handle these customer requests.
