We are excited to introduce our newest application engineer, Nathan Shumugam, who joined Caplinq Malaysia on July 3rd, 2023. Bringing over 15 years of extensive experience in product manufacturing, Nathan will play a crucial role in providing technical support to our customers and collaborating closely with the sales team, particularly in the Electronics Assembly Adhesives sector and Soldering materials.
Nathan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technological University of Malaysia. His prior work stints at esteemed companies such as Keysight Technologies (MY), Motorola Solutions (MY), and Intel Microelectronics (MY) have laid a solid foundation, enabling him to excel as a technically adept professional within CAPLINQ. During his tenure with these multinational corporations, Nathan was responsible for handling RF-based products, ensuring their robustness before they reached the hands of customers.
Given the diverse industries prevalent in Penang, where CAPLINQ is strategically located, Nathan is poised to significantly contribute to business development not only in Malaysia but also across Southeast Asia. He will be reporting to the Technical Service Manager based in the Philippines, working collaboratively with team members across various departments globally.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Nathan has a keen interest in maintaining his fitness by embarking on hikes with both friends and strangers, immersing himself in nature during camping trips, enjoying leisurely fishing, and taking long walks.
