We are delighted to introduce our newest team member, Kalliope Zembillas, who has joined CAPLINQ as a Product Applications Engineer. Starting from May 1st, 2023, Kalliope will be based in Greece, where she has recently returned after spending several years in the United States.
As a Product Applications Engineer, Kalliope will play a crucial role in supporting both new and existing technical sales opportunities. Her expertise will be focused on assisting our customers in identifying and implementing the most suitable products to meet their specific production requirements, with a specialization in Coating Powders and Surface Treatments.
Kalliope’s educational background includes graduating from Youngstown State University in Ohio, where she obtained a degree in Chemical Engineering. During her time at the university, she gained valuable experience as an R&D and Process Engineer, working on the formulation of roof coatings. Following her graduation, she embarked on a career at Lordstown Motors and Foxconn EV System, serving as a Paint Process/Planning Engineer. Her responsibilities in these roles involved working extensively with the Pretreatment and Electrodeposition Coating Process, encompassing equipment commissioning, process optimization, and project management.
Kalliope studied Engineering because of her love for Science and Mathematics but is also very creative. She is passionate about using that creativity to create functionality in her life and career. Beyond her professional pursuits, Kalliope enjoys spending quality time with her dog, cherishing moments with her family and friends, and diving into the captivating world of books.
We are confident that Kalliope’s technical expertise, combined with her passion for excellence, will greatly contribute to CAPLINQ’s commitment to delivering exceptional solutions to our valued customers.
