We are happy to announce that time, indeed, flies and Lyle has already been with us for an entire year! Lyle Cantalejo has joined CAPLINQ in October 2021 as a Technical Sales Representative for the Philippines and the SEA region. Lyle has be working full-time out of our new offices in Manila, the Philippines, a short drive from his hometown of Calabarzon.
Lyle graduated from De La Salle University, Manila, with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, and manufacturing. After a few years working for NXP semiconductors as a Senior Process engineer, he decided to expand his theoretical knowledge in Material science and thus pursued a Master’s degree in Material Science from Mapua University.
As part of our ongoing global expansion, we searched for the perfect candidate to set up and operate our CAPLINQ Philippines entity. Lyle was the perfect guy at the perfect time. We were a match made in heaven that endured the pass of time.
Lyle was thrown into a sink-or-swim situation and immediately became a priceless asset to our company and expansion. While setting up our Philippines entity he was (and still is) aiding with our American sales projects, working with our European team and operating at three timezones. His patience, knowledge, and perseverance helped us set up and expand our business operations in SEA and the Americas and we are looking forward to many more years of working together.
In his free time, Lyle enjoys going out, meeting friends, and watching tons of series. Lyle’s friends and family best define him as ambitious, enthusiastic, social, energetic, and most of all “a very positive person.” Something that we can definitely attest to.
Lyle to develop and support new technical sales opportunities in the Phillipines
Key to his role will be to work with our customers to clearly understand their applications, product requirements and help them find and implement the right products to meet their production needs. He will also help us expand our business opportunities in the Philippines and the nearby regions.
Organizationally, Lyle will report to the Business Development Director but will interact with all departments as he understands and gathers the information needed to best help CAPLINQ’s customers.
