We are happy to announce that effective July 1st, 2022, Luis Gutiérrez has joined CAPLINQ as a Field Applications Engineer. Luis will be working full-time out of Mexico City, supporting both our North and South America offices. Being a bilingual, Spanish and English, professional, Luis is going to become an invaluable communication chain between the production and RnD facilities.
Luis graduated from Instituto Politecnico Nacional with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical industrial engineering. After a few years of working in multiple positions within Henkel, he wanted to broaden his horizons and decided to pursue a degree in Project management from the Technological university of Mexico.
Small actions can create a big impact
Luis has been in and out of multiple positions within Henkel’s industrial and electronics divisions. Whether being a Laboratory engineer, leading QMS system, managing lab projects and training internal and external shareholders, or working as Technical Customer Service to support business development of key accounts, Luis has acquired a vast amount of industry knowledge. This product and application experience makes Luis an ideal candidate to support and expand our semiconductor, eMobility and renewable energy markets in his regional areas of responsibility.
In his free time, Luis is a real cinephile, spending most of his working waking hours watching films and Series. He loves spending time with his friends and family and traveling to discover new places. He already had the opportunity to tag along to our Livonia office and visit The Battery Expo 2022 in Novi, MI. With more travels to come…
Luis will aid with Sales and Application projects in Mexico and in North America.
Key to this role will be to work with our customers to clearly understand their application requirements and challenges and help them find and implement the right products to meet their process requirements. Luis will also be assisting with process optimization and production-related activities.
Organizationally, Luis will report to the Marketing Manager and be a crucial chain of the Sales and Marketing global team, interacting with all departments as he understands and gathers the information needed to best help CAPLINQ’s customers.
