I am happy to announce that effective June 29th, 2020, Hongyu Yu has joined CAPLINQ as Application and Product Engineer. Working full time out of our new offices in Assendelft, Netherlands, Hongyu will support new and existing technical sales opportunities by helping our customers identify and implement products that meet their specific production requirements.
I like to talk a lot with different people and spend time self-learning. My natural curiosity drives me to always ask questions and keep learning.
Hongyu graduated from TU Delft with a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering. With a deep knowledge of chemicals and experience in helping startups to grow business, she gets excited when she sees opportunities to simplify complex technical challenges and helping customers transform these into real-word business solutions. She looks forward to fulfilling her passions for both the developments of new technologies and the fast-growing business at CAPLINQ.
Have studied in three countries and traveled to many more, Hongyu enjoys living and working in an open-minded and multi-cultural environment. That’s one of the reasons she joined CAPLINQ and looks forward to settling down in the Netherlands.
Hongyu’s natural curiosity drives her to always ask questions and keep learning. She enjoys talking with a lot of different people and spending time self-learning. She looks for patterns, systems, and models in all that she does, finding these concise and beautiful. In the absence of these, she creates them, and summarizes it herself.
In her free time, Hongyu loves watching movies and gets fresh energy from them. She also enjoys Bullet Journaling to sort all her crazy ideas. While in groups, she enjoys board games the most, sometimes becoming maybe a little too competitive. She balances this out with Karaoke which she also counts among her favorite – albeit more relaxed activities. She says she is here to breakdown all stereotypes to help “West meet East”. Her life quote is “to experience, to reflect, and to share.”
Hongyu to develop and support new technical sales opportunities
Key to this role will be to work with our customers to clearly understand their product requirements and help them find and implement the right products to meet their production requirements.
Organizationally, Hongyu will report to the Business Development Manager but will interact with all departments as she understands and implements the technologies that CAPLINQ can offer its customers.
