We are happy to announce that Jessica Bacud has joined CAPLINQ as the Legal Document Review Specialist. Reporting to the Quality & REACH Department, she has been instrumental in reviewing, organizing, and aligning legal documents, as well as negotiating terms and securing agreements. Her key objective is to use her legal expertise in efficiently supporting the company’s legal review, negotiation, and organizational needs, while gaining valuable experience.
Jessica finished her bachelor’s degree in political science from Cagayan State University. Eventually, she earned her Juris Doctor from the University of the Philippines Diliman. She also passed the Bar Exam and is a fully licensed lawyer.
During her years in law school, she held internships in three different institutions. These include SALIGAN & University of the Philippines Office of Legal Aid (OLA) where she had the opportunity to provide legal assistance to indigent and underprivileged clients, and the Philippine Competition Commission where she learned about implementation and enforcement of relevant Philippine competition laws.
Prior to attending law school, Jessica also gained diverse professional experience. She spent four years as a Senior Lease Analyst at Eximius BPO Services Incorporated, where she specialized in analyzing and summarizing commercial and residential leases. Prior to that, she worked for two years as a Sales and Retention Agent at Alorica, assisting customers with technical and non-technical issues and promoting customer loyalty. Her career also includes two years as an Analyst at Citibank, where she managed client payment reminders and negotiated payment terms.
Outside of her professional life here at CAPLINQ, Jessica is passionate about staying informed on social and political issues. She also enjoys cooking, reading novels, and indulging in TV shows, Korean dramas, and anime. Some of her favorite series include Friends, The Big Bang Theory, and Game of Thrones.
